So, I was going to skip blogging tonight and spend some time working on an iMovie project. But, I can only work on it on Bryan's mac and when I turned it on I saw that it needed to be charged. So, instead of getting off the couch to get the power cord, I decided to just blog instead. That, my friends, is the epitome of laziness. I did just finish a workout and sweated my tush off...so perhaps I deserve to be a bit lazy?
Then I realized I only have two pics for you. Lame-o. Sorry!
Breakfast went unphotographed, as usual, but it was nothing special...Honeynut Cheerios and vanilla yogurt.
Then lunch...
Turkey, baby spinach, tomato, and sriracha, on an everything bagel thin. Plus cucumbers and veggie cream cheese, and FSTG sweet potato and jalapeno chips. Hadn't had the sweet potato flavor in a while and I forgot how gooood it is. Now, let me tell you a little bit about this turkey. I consider myself a lunch meat snob. I have a slight obsession with Boar's Head cold cuts and it wasn't until a few months ago that I gave in to trying a different brand, simply to have some more meal options. (Boar's Head meat isn't readily available where I live) Then, last week at BJ's I hesitantly tried a free sample of Wellsley Farms turkey. To my surprise, it WOWed me. It was delicious! Bryan went back this week to get half a pound. It is the closest thing to Boar's Head I have ever found. It turned a typical sandwich into something quite spectacular. I cannot explain how excited this makes me!
And to continue the good food news,
I had an AWESOME dinner from Pita Pit! I had a salad with baby spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, falafel, feta, and tzatziki sauce. This was a beast of a salad and I wish I could eat it every single day. It was such a filling meal.
I have a filling the good eats will continue this weekend. Look out for some good posts!
