Dinosaur!

I started today off with a delicious bowl of oatmeal.
I mixed in some dark chocolate dreams and a teensy bit of Crofter's Asia spread. The chocolate flavor kind of hid the raspberry, but no complaints. I paired my oats with a lovely bowl of frozen red grapes and blueberries. Unfortunately I did not pick out a good batch of blueberries..these were totally bland!

I snacked a little bit throughout the day on some raisins and dark chocolate (had a serious sweet tooth) but I was saving my appetite for Bryan's birthday dinner at Dinosaur BBQ. SO glad I did. Easily one of my favorite splurge meals!!!

Some appetizers...
Shrimp, chicken wings, fried tomatoes, and deviled eggs. I tried everything but the shrimp and was very pleased!

Then the entrees...
I had a pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw and swiss cheese. I slathered it in Dinosaur BBQ sauce, of course. I chose mac & cheese (with cajun seasoning) and a blue cheese salad for my sides. Out of this world! Seriously one of the best meals I have had in a while. I rarely have pulled pork and this was such a treat. And the cajun seasoning on the mac & cheese was a really nice touch!

Bryan's meal...
He got a three meat combo with ribs, chicken, and pulled pork, and corn and mashed potatoes on the side. I ate his cornbread and it was unbelievably delicious.

And of course, Dino's famous sauces.

I cleaned my plate and felt like I was busting out of my jeans but I still made room to split dessert with Bryan.
We had the Oreo ice box cake. HOLY YUM! Even though I'm still so full that I feel like I'm with child...I would eat this again right now. In a heartbeat.

Amazing meal...thank you Bob & Kris!!!

Speaking of being with child...
My cousin Kristen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this morning! Her name is Alyssa Marie. So happy! Can't wait to get home to meet her!

Well, now it's time to see if I can get motivated to work out. This morning I dabbled with some Exercise OnDemand workouts and finally settled on a 10 minute cardio workout, 10 minutes of leg and glutes work, and 10 minutes of yoga. I would really like to get some more cardio in tonight. We shall see...
