Veggies & Cheese

I overslept this morning, only by about 20 minutes or so, but I have felt so out of whack all day! And to make matter's worse, it's only Tuesday. RAR!

Let's talk eats.

This morning's breakfast was a bowl of oatmeal and Asia fruit spread (raspberries & yumberries)
Sorry for the poor quality pic! This was tasty but eating the raspberry spread really made me crave dark chocolate dreams. Guess I liked that combo more than I realized :)

Lunch...
Beautiful photo thanks to my wonderful fiance, of course. So spoiled that he not only makes me lunch and dinner every day but he takes pics too...and good ones! I had more leftover kung pao veggies on a multigrain thin with swiss cheese. In my opinion, pretty much anything you put between bread and cheese is going to be good...because it's between bread and cheese...but man this was out of this world. I texted Bryan as I was eating and told him to make me this every day :) On the side I had a sliced up gala apple and sweet potato chips. Sweet potato chips are slowly becoming my new best friends. Love those guys. The apple was very tasty but I'd like to give a new kind of apple a try. Suggestions??

Dinner was veggies and cheeses round two.
I had the Green Giant garden vegetable medley mixed up with garlic pepper and parmesan cheese. SO GOOD!!!!
On the side I had FSTG olive chips and a vanilla Special K bar. I was very happy with this meal.

I'm extremely low on food this week so I'm glad I got lots of veggies in today because my meals for the rest of the week will probably be lacking them big time!

Time for some fitness!

P.S. Check out this giveaway!

  1. Do you ever have yogurt for breakfast? I know I've seen a lot of bowls of oatmeal and VitaTops. I love Chobani with granola and some peanut butter for some extra nutrients...keeps me full until ALMOST lunchtime.

    I have a jar of Dark Chocolate Dreams. Jealous?!? j/k j/k :)

  2. Jenna, this is my new favorite snacky snack!! A banana, smeared with peanut butter (I like the Better N' Peanut Butter that I get at Trader Joe's - only 100 calories for 2 tbsp) and then rolled around in some finely chopped up walnuts - and if you really want to get crazy, sprinkle some chocolate syrup on it (or better yet, melt some dark chocolate in the micro and drizzle it) - DE-LICIOUS!!!

    have a good night! xoxoxo
